J.E. utilizes his in-depth knowledge and experience to help businesses overcome challenges and reduce risk through the use of innovative IT solutions. As the former Chief Information Officer for Regal Entertainment Group, J.E. spent 13 years bolstering the brands profitability, leading the company from earnings of $50 million to $2.5 billion. He helped to administer 19 acquisitions, at the time making Regal the largest theatre operator in the world. A key player in a joint venture, J. E. oversaw the creation and development of www.fandango.com. Fandango was later sold to Comcast in 2007 for $200 million. Beginning his career as a computer operator, software developer and systems programmer, J.E. then moved into management and has worked for various organizations including the University of Tennessee. He understands the importance of aligning IT with business objectives and how to leverage IT to drive business value. For the past ten years J.E. has focused his efforts on entrepreneurial start-ups, including working with professional golfer Phil Mickelson on a major venture. J. E. is also a U.S. Army veteran having served his country proudly and honorably from 1967-1969.
Richard is a member of Knoxville’s largest law firm Woolf, McClane, Bright, Allen & Carpenter, and serves as outside counsel to IT 4 the Planet. Assisting in areas of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, contracts, and federal, state & local tax planning, he has practiced law with the firm since its inception in 1994. A Tennessee Volunteer, Richard received his undergraduate and law degree from The University of Tennessee. He also obtained an LL.M. with an emphasis in taxation, at the University of Miami School of Law. In addition to his law practice, Richard serves as a board member for Knoxville Habitat for Humanity.
President of Parker Business Consulting & Accounting, PC, Bob and his team provide guidance to businesses for making effective decisions that increase the value of their entities. His valuation skills have been used to ameliorate strategic mergers, acquisitions, business successions, and estate transactions. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant, accredited in Business Valuations; Certified Valuation Analyst, Certified Management Accountant, and Certified Financial Manager. He received a B.S. in Industrial Technology and an MBA from Tennessee Technological University. While in his masters program, Bob received national recognition for research conducted for a major corporation on inventory reduction and improved process flow. Bob has completed numerous professional development programs, including the Leadership Development Program at Hartford Graduate’s Center for Creative Leadership and Indiana University’s Strategic Planning Program. Bob is a military veteran having served proudly and honorably in the U.S. Army Rangers.
Mike has over 25 years experience in the IT industry almost exclusively in database design, and software engineering and development. His talents for building trust alongside his tremendous people skills contribute to extraordinary customer service.
Beginning his career, Mike worked to install managed employee time keeping systems utilizing Kronos hardware and software. His early experiences later led him to Regal Entertainment Group where he served as the IT Director of Corporate Systems. Over the 15 years at Regal, Mike was promoted from PC setup & support, to software development, eventually capping his time as part of the management team during their expansion. He is well versed in several software development languages and databases (JAVA, .NET, Delphi, PHP, MS-SQL, MySQL, Pervasive, et al.), as well as SDLC, and SOX audit support, among others.
As the President of Mitch Reed & Associates, PLLC, his company’s focus is working with businesses to provide accounting and tax services, management support, and financial advice. He works to inform business owners on the financial tools that allow for more accurate, effective, and easier business decisions.
Mitch graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee in 1987 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a major in Accountancy. He began his career in the audit division of an accounting firm for three years, later working for a Knoxville based publicly traded manufacturing firm in financial statement reporting, taxes, and SEC reporting. In 1991, Mitch began his accounting and tax practice with an emphasis on service and support.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Better Business Bureau.
