Knoxville, Tennessee, March 31, 2015:  IT 4 the Planet, the leader in providing integrated and cost effective IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses in the Southeast, is pleased to announce the addition of a new position, Director of Application Development Services.  Jody Carter, formerly with EdFinancial, Efficience and Regal Entertainment Group will be expanding our custom software division.

In addition to the existing Information Technology managed service support, professional services will now be available to support marketing and loyalty programs, digital marketing strategies and development including website design, mobile applications, social media campaigns and e-commerce programs.  IT 4 the Planet has the skills and resources to manage and support web site development/e-commerce solutions/custom software solutions/ mobile applications/social media campaigns/managed services/cloud solutions/security/backup, recovery and disaster recovery….pretty much soup to nuts solutions.

Jody has enjoyed great success having previously worked for Microsoft, Regal Entertainment Group, Efficience and EdFinancial.   His primary skills are focused on project management, software development utilizing state-of-the-art design and development methodologies, data base design and support as well as other key technical knowledge.

Prior to joining IT 4 the Planet, Jody spent two years as Technical Manager at EdFinancial, two years as Software Development Manager at Efficience, nine years at Regal Entertainment Group and held technical and management positions with Microsoft and Mattel Interactive prior to that.
